ABA Foundation Academic Scholarship

You must be a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited university (4-year university/college or junior college). You must have a declared major or course of study relevant to the transportation, travel, and tourism industry. Transportation, travel and tourism encompass a varying range of professions from accounting to hospitality management and everything in between. In other words, please apply rather than ruling yourself out because of your major. However, you will be required to submit a short essay on how your major or course of study is relevant to the transportation, travel, and tourism industries. You must maintain a minimum GPA of a 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay discussing the role they hope to play in advancing the future of the transportation, motorcoach, travel, and tourism/hospitality industry.

Any student at least 16 years or older who plans to attend, or is currently attending, college or graduate school. Students may be of any nationality and reside in any country. Students may study any major or plan to enter any career field at any accredited college or graduate school. Although applicants can be from any country, all applications must be completed in English.

Ayn Rand Essay Competition - Atlas Shrugged

Essay must be no fewer than 800 and no more than 1,600 words in length, double-spaced. Spelling errors and/or written corrections (by anyone) found on the essay will count against the final grade and should be omitted before submission.
